The owners were extremely courteous and friendly. To reach the bathroom, you had to walk down the hallway, and there were other rooms on the same floor. If those rooms had been occupied, I would have had to share the bathroom, which wasn’t clear from the listing—perhaps I overlooked it. Installing motion sensors in the hallway would be a smart investment.

The cleanliness and polite contact before our arrival were appreciated. The unit couldn’t be locked—every wardrobe was filled with the host’s clothes, both in the bathroom and bedrooms—there were no night‑stand lamps or reading light, the ceiling lamp in one room was broken and torn from its fixture, there were cracks in the plaster, some wallpaper had already peeled off for further renovation, outlets were loose or had been used by children, a high‑current cable lay on a shelf and the host said it wasn’t connected, a hair dryer was available on request but not functioning, and there were no curtains.
