Casa Țărănească "OM BUN" was a highlight of our Romanian trip, offering a genuinely agritourism feel, especially for families with kids. From the moment we arrived, the hosts treated us like family, their warmth and hospitality were exceptional. Every morning we had an amazing homemade breakfast with freshly baked bread, traditional sausages, cheeses, and many local products. Dinner was prepared on request after chatting with the hosts about what everyone wanted to eat, making it feel like a family meal rather than a menu order. The food deserves special mention, especially Maria Ranf’s award‑winning homemade bread. Our children loved the animals – pigs, chickens, rabbits, puppies, horses, and even a squirrel – spending hours playing with the puppies and rabbit, and a highlight was a horse‑drawn cart ride around the village. We also watched a horse being re‑shod and were invited to a family barbecue. The events felt authentic, not staged for tourists. The rooms were modern, comfortable, and very clean. It was a wonderful experience and one of the best places we’ve stayed with children. We would recommend it without hesitation to anyone seeking authentic Romanian hospitality, outstanding homemade food, and an unforgettable family experience.
