Everything was lovely, and there was nothing to complain about.
One of the rooms had a cigarette smell.
Not a luxury spot, but the value is solid. The staff went above and beyond, making us feel welcome. We left pretty happy with the stay.
The accommodation was a perfect 10/10, the front‑desk girls were very attentive and eager to help with anything; the hotel sits right near the west gate of the park and the main bus station in Wulingyuan, with several local restaurants and supermarkets nearby, and overall everything was fine.
The hotel’s spot is ideal for hikers—right next to the trail entrance—and the room itself was spacious with great room service and plenty of free water (thanks for the adapters, too). On the flip side, the voice‑controlled lights and curtains are set to Chinese, so if you don’t speak it you’re stuck, and the room was ice‑cold when we arrived late at night, with the lobby just as chilly. Seeing a trapped cat in a small cage and struggling with English added to the disappointment.
