The place did what it needed to do: a bed for a family member staying while they were in the hospital. Breakfast was really good and the staff were amazing.

The spot is great—far enough from the city to keep costs down, yet close to a bus line that gets you downtown in no time. The building is older, so if you’re after brand‑new finishes it might not fit your taste, but it worked perfectly for what I needed.

The staff were friendly, there’s free parking off the street, early check‑in, and it’s quiet even though it’s on the main road. It’s also close to a bus stop.

Breakfast was excellent, served with a smile, and there was a good variety that offered great value. The room was better than I expected—very comfortable and even upgraded. The welcome on arrival was warm, and everything was arranged to make life easier for guests. The hotel sits back from the road, so it’s quiet, and the garden and lounge are pleasant. Clean and welcoming throughout. The only downside was the canned fruit salad at breakfast—a minor point.

Convenient location for JR. Very basic and a bit tired decor
