CASA MOREANA

We had a very pleasant experience at Casa Morena and will definitely come back! We were housed in room 8, with a balcony, which is very well equipped, elegant, and comfortable. Everything was exactly as we wanted for a relaxing stay. Even though the check‑out time was 11:00, we asked if we could stay until 15:30, and the staff was very understanding and helped us without any problem. We really appreciate that gesture! The transport from the jetty to the accommodation and back was provided by a tuk‑tuk, which was very convenient and even a nice experience. Overall, we felt very good, were welcomed with kindness, and enjoyed the hospitality of the place. We will definitely return and recommend Casa Morena with pleasure! ❤️ No complaints.

“Balconul promis si achitat nu e o garanție”

Communication with the owner was good, he responded promptly. Even though we arrived later, he helped us arrange the transport boats and offered us the possibility to do excursions. The room we were initially booked in—Deluxe Double with balcony—was beautiful, just like in the pictures (room 8). We were told upon arrival that on the last night we would need to change rooms because a larger group was coming. We were informed that the new room had no balcony. We were told it was a better room, even though it was exactly as described and the same number as the one we paid for. Even though it wasn’t what we reserved, we agreed. The new room we were moved to (room 4) had a “view” of the boiler room; the window was covered with a matte film, we couldn’t open it because it was hot, and natural light was basically none. We weren’t informed about these things. I reported this problem to the owner, saying that although we agreed to the room change, it wasn’t what we paid for and had many more drawbacks besides lacking a balcony. The blame was put on booking, which is impossible given that all listed rooms describe a balcony, yet only 2 of the 8 actually have one (rooms 5 and 8). We were told all rooms are the same price and no refund will be given, and the promised bottle of wine for the inconvenience was not received.

“Recomand!”

I was pleasantly impressed by the property. Since it’s off‑season, I didn’t have high expectations, but they were far exceeded. The place is very well maintained, the rooms are immaculate, the bed is comfortable, and the hosts are welcoming and friendly.

Am avut o ședere scurtă, dar foarte plăcută. Locația este convenabilă, aproape de centru, iar camerele sunt curate și bine întreținute. Totul a fost perfect
