Hotel St. Hubertushof

“Gute Lage, Zimmer u Bad sauber, ausreichend groß , Preis-Leistung o. K”

The breakfast was very hearty, with an excellent selection of great teas, and the breakfast room was beautiful. It felt a bit reserved when arriving, and breakfast only lasted until 9:30, which is a pity for late‑sleepers.

“Sofort wieder”

I was greeted very warmly and addressed informally right away. Early check‑in was no problem. I also liked the vending machine, useful if you want a drink after coming home. I would book there again immediately.

We left the hotel on time, but because we had more appointments, we needed a place to leave our luggage, which wasn’t possible here.

“Sconsigliata vivamente a chi viaggia in estate e con il proprio amico a quattro zampe.”

The breakfast was decent. I stayed at this place in early July. I knew the room would be small, so that wasn’t a problem. The real issue was the complete lack of air conditioning: at night the room temperature was unbearable and I slept very poorly throughout my stay. I was in the area for work and the lack of rest made the days extremely exhausting. I was traveling with my two dogs (I’m a dog trainer) and only at check‑out was I told a €10 per night surcharge per dog (€20 a day), totaling €120. I understand some places add extra fees, but by law the amount must be clearly indicated at booking or at least at check‑in, not at the end of the stay. The room cleaning was also inadequate: when I arrived, I moved the bed to make room for a protective sheet and found a pair of socks left by previous guests. In short, I strongly recommend against staying here in the summer because of the unbearable heat and because it’s not suitable for dog owners, especially due to the lack of transparency on extra costs.
