Breakfast was exactly what I wanted and I wasn’t disappointed; the view from my window was peaceful bliss, and a 20‑30 minute walk takes you to the riverfront for boating or a quiet fishing spot. During my stay I was the only guest, so I truly felt like the lady of the manor. The host and hostess Anita and Billy were kind and met every need; when I needed to go to another area they provided transport for a small fee. I can’t remember the last time I was so well looked after by proprietors of a Country House B & B. Google Maps needs updating—it led me in circles, and because it was late evening I struggled to find the venue; the next morning I found a simpler turn that would have saved me 30 minutes.
