I had a reservation, but when I got there the owner was nowhere to be found – he seemed to be sleeping. He finally came out and told me the place was already taken. I reminded him of my booking, and he said he’d forgotten to let me know. I was left scrambling for another spot, which was a total let‑down.

The property, the room, and the park were all stunning – I loved every bit of it! The staff were top‑notch and made me feel right at home. Getting there is a bit of a trek – a short dirt road that can be tricky for a car, so ask ahead if you’re unsure. You won’t get a direct view of the sierras, but you’re surrounded by lush green all around.
