“Needs a update but still good”

The location is great and the hotel has become a bit worn yet still acceptable. The evening menu feels repetitive and could use more variety.

There wasn’t much to say positively. The reception staff were rude, and the bath, including the shower, lacked safety handles for getting in and out. Bedroom furniture was old, basic, and uncomfortable, with an outdated sideboard. The air‑conditioning unit was dusty and barely worked, giving the impression of a Blackpool hotel from 25 years ago that needs a complete refurb.

“I was that disappointed with the hotel and the h helpful staff that I left and didn’t even stay the night”

The location was convenient while I was visiting Derby, but I paid extra for a balcony that wouldn’t open, and the staff couldn’t fix it. The TV only offered standard free channels even though the remote had Netflix and Amazon Prime buttons. After spending over £100 for a single night, having to pay for parking was absurd.
