I didn’t think this place was meant for workers, but the accommodation was just fine for a builder’s break, though the breakfast was mediocre.

The location was great and the reception staff were friendly.

The room was clean, on the water, and comfortable, but we had to wait 30 min at 1:30 in the night for someone to let us in, and the next day there was only salad for breakfast; when we asked for eggs or yoghurt they said everything was finished.

The hotel’s location is very good, but that’s about it; the shower was dirty and worn, with greasy rust‑colored deposits, limescale, and faded grout; the thin microfiber towels were low quality, no toiletries, no hygiene bags or soft towels; there was no comfort in the room—no water, no kettle or small tea set, no mini‑fridge; damp, musty smell in the corridors and rooms; the breakfast selection was very limited; we would not book this hotel again.

The breakfast staff were slow at first but quickly improved; I suggested “senior plates” and loved the garden and view, yet the staff smoked right in front of the entrance terrace and their breaks were not very pleasant.
