“Wir würden nicht wiederkommen.”

It was clean, but everything felt old and rundown, making it totally uncomfortable. All the plugs (lamps, TV, etc.) were pulled out of the sockets, so we had to plug them in ourselves. To reach the key box we had to climb a narrow metal lattice spiral staircase—no good for people with a fear of heights. The key didn’t fit the room assigned to us. After a phone call we learned there had been a last‑minute change and we were moved to another room, requiring us to go back down the stairs. It was quite unpleasant after a long trip.

“Cozy village/tight parking”

The place is very cozy, tucked into a tiny street in a small village. However, an extra tax appeared at check‑in, parking isn’t free, and the “smoking” sign outside the bathroom window means the room can smell of smoke.

The location is quiet, parking is available in the courtyard, and there’s a good café 200 m away for breakfast. Unfortunately, the owner was on vacation, so there was no breakfast in the hotel.
