The location was peaceful, the room was clean with a mosquito net, and the walk to the beach was short. Renting a moped was possible. The food was great at both breakfast and dinner, and with mosquito protection you can enjoy the terrace. The Wi‑Fi in the room didn’t work.

We drove all over Sri Lanka, staying in 10 different hotels, and this was the best! The breakfast was excellent, the family running the hotel was very warm and the atmosphere was fantastic. You can also rent a scooter from them to see nearby sights – there’s a lot to explore. We really liked it. The waves make swimming on the beach dangerous, but there are other beaches nearby that you can visit. The beach itself is very beautiful.

The cabana was set in a tranquil spot surrounded by plenty of plants and fruit trees, and it was very clean and comfortable. The outdoor area was fantastic, featuring a bed and a hammock. The bathroom was lovely, though it currently lacks hot water, which will be installed later. The location is peaceful and close to the beach and other restaurants, and the area is very quiet. Breakfast was excellent, and it was nice to have a restaurant on site. The family were very friendly and welcoming, and there was a lovely dog. If we hadn’t booked, we would have stayed longer. The only downside was the lack of hot water.
