The location, breakfast, and hosts’ attention were excellent. I asked for help with the TV channels and didn’t get it. As a couple who wakes up late and leaves late, on the second day I had to request housekeeping; when we returned only the towels were changed and the trash removed. I don’t think this is outrageous, but given the short stay it should have been flawless. The lodge’s size makes this a real issue. My room was near the garden with tables and chairs; one morning other guests gathered there, talking loudly and laughing, which woke us up and was very irritating. Since the outdoor area is large, moving those tables away from the rooms would avoid the disturbance. Everyone has their own style; just because we’re motorbike riders doesn’t mean we’re like the others who wake at 07:00. In our travels we value freedom from set schedules and enjoy the experience.

Pousada Varandinha turned out to be a pleasant surprise. From the reception, the staff, the welcoming atmosphere, the space is wonderful and very tasteful. The breakfast was surreal, delicious, everything beautifully presented and well served! We’ll definitely come back.

The room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. The hot shower worked perfectly, and the blackout curtains were excellent, giving me great nights of sleep. The coffee was weak, like tea.

The room was clean, roomy, and well lit, the bed was comfortable, and the staff were very friendly. The floor was wood and parking was available. There was no study chair or desk in the room, and getting to the city center requires a car.
