My partner and I were thrilled by the warm reception that felt like a hug from close friends; we enjoyed a lovely dinner with fine wine, and the place was spotless and cozy, conveniently close to the stunning oceanfront for easy strolls, and the value for money was fantastic.

The room was very clean and the bathroom was huge, giving a fresh, newly finished vibe, and the hosts were very friendly; the B&B sits in the middle of nowhere, so without a car you can't get groceries, which you should know beforehand, but you are right at the start of the four Carrowteige loop walks, which are great to hike. Because this is a self‑catering B&B, we wished for a communal room with seating, tables, and cutlery; we could have put a small table and two chairs in each room, otherwise it feels like eating in bed. Everything looks brand new, so I'm not sure if some of my “criticism” is still in planning, but in the bathroom we especially missed power outlets and towel holders for drying used towels.
