“The property surprised me with three additional fees and invaded my privacy by recording my ID.”
When I arrived to check in there was no one at the front desk, so I had to use a kiosk where a woman on the screen, who seemed to be in India, charged me an extra $10 for checking in less than an hour early, put a $100 hold on my debit card and said it would be refunded after my stay, and scanned my ID and biometric data, which felt extremely invasive. I had messaged the property before my trip asking if my early arrival was okay and got a reply saying it was, but the additional $10 fee was not disclosed. Those two extra charges should have been listed beforehand, not presented when I arrived after my initial payment. I had been driving all day and was tired, so I did not appreciate being surprised with extra fees and having my privacy invaded; the property should have done a better job disclosing the fees and conditions.

Quick email responses and the possibility of a late check‑in were positives, but the room had an extreme stench and heat that forced us to open all windows, leave the door open, and wait outside to get rid of the worst of it. The toilet’s flush mechanism wouldn’t stop once activated, so my husband had to tamper with it to stop the running water. The bed sheets were too short to cover the whole mattress, and the light randomly turned on and off after a few minutes. All of this shows severe maintenance issues. The price is cheap for the area, but this stay was simply unpleasant and I would not recommend this place to anyone.

The area is nice, the room is clean and comfortable, and we were able to stay with our 6‑month‑old baby. There was nothing we didn’t like.
