Simon and Penny were fantastic hosts in their beautiful home, offering a different breakfast menu each day with fresh, lovingly prepared dishes; the room was spotless, had coffee and tea facilities, and nice bath products, and we enjoyed sitting in the lovely lounge. We can't think of any negatives.

The property is very elegant, the breakfast room is splendid, the breakfast itself is excellent with fresh, well‑made products, the hosts are very kind and helpful, the area is great for walks, and there is on‑site parking available.

Our room was small but impeccably furnished, ideal for a single night; for longer stays we’d recommend upgrading to the larger garden‑view rooms. The hostess was charming and served a delicious, freshly prepared breakfast each morning. The village of Exford is just a short walk away and turned out to be a pleasant surprise.
