“A hidden Paradise”
The holiday home sits in a dreamy English garden park that Jane and Bob designed themselves, offering a wonderful view of the hill chain across from it. The hosts treated us with extraordinary hospitality and fed us fresh vegetables, herbs, and fruit from their own garden. The house was lovingly furnished with English charm and Breton furniture (no Ikea nonsense!), and there was absolutely nothing missing—from an air fryer (for those who like it) to a teapot, from a Scrabble set to a surfboard. Jane and Bob also gave us tips on local shopping and coastal walks. The absolute quiet on the private terrace often tempted us to simply relax there with a book and Breton cake until sunset, watching hares and bats. A dream! The only downside was that the heat in the beautiful garden had taken its toll, and many plants had withered, though many rare butterflies were still visible on the last blossoms.
