The room was nice, quiet, and well located. It was fine as a stopover for long trips. The Italian restaurant at the hotel was really nice. The breakfast buffet was already quite empty by 8:00 am and it was obvious that there wasn’t enough staff to restock. Tea was only available from the coffee machine and it was lukewarm. The hard‑boiled eggs were hard. The breakfast could be better.

The staff were very friendly. In the afternoon there was cake and coffee for guests, and the breakfast was excellent, leaving nothing lacking. The pictures on the website give a better impression than reality. For example, the pool has only a simple brown paint job and looks a bit dated, and the comfort rooms in the main building are quite small and have a shower that requires climbing 30 cm, and at 135 € they are not cheap compared to other hotels.

The wellness area and pool were very dated and didn’t really invite lingering; the lack of an elevator is a major issue for people with mobility restrictions.

The room met our expectations: it was clean, the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was very good. The location was top. A very nice small town. There is nothing to complain about.
