There weren’t many hotels in Khe Sahn, so at least this one existed. I booked this particular room because I needed a bathtub after a long, cold, rainy day, yet there was no hot water—only warm at best, probably to curb usage. The receptionist vanished so I couldn’t even raise a complaint, the mirror lamp was broken, and there was no breakfast.
