Nice spot, friendly staff, and breakfast was somewhat inconsistent. One day it wasn’t clear that yoghurt was available, another day the bread was very hard, but there was also a day with tasty croissants. Overall it was fine. The shared kitchen (including a fridge) is a nice touch for making coffee or tea as needed. The room could use a small cupboard for storage, and there’s a leaking tap in the toilet above the back. Hopefully that’s been replaced now.

The spirit from the founding era is still palpable. Everything feels very eco‑friendly, natural, and simple, yet very pleasant.

The venue is exceptional, set in nature with a botanical garden and a pond with ducks; the owners truly turned it into a little paradise. It was very hot in the main building, but fortunately the room stayed cool.
