The bathroom is clean and cozy. 1. The electric lock with code at the hostel entrance works intermittently. 2. No early check‑in. 3. With the window closed in the room, mosquitoes appear at night, some ventilation issue. 4. A burning bulb on the TV, which cannot be fully turned off, sits directly opposite the bed. 5. No sound insulation at all, every neighbour’s step is heard. 6. An incredibly strange fridge that freezes yoghurt into ice cream in two hours, and it’s not a freezer, and it hums loudly at night, again with no way to turn it off. 7. When booking you can choose one double bed or two single beds. I chose double, but ended up with two shifted single beds with some cloth in the middle, and one of them was warped in several places and the springs painfully pierce the body. 8. The AC was cleaned 200 years ago, linens are washed with aggressive chemicals that leave a strong smell; allergy sufferers should avoid it.

The location is great, but the bathroom door was broken and wouldn't lock.

Everything was fine, though opening the window lets in a lot of street noise from the nearby road; the air‑conditioner helps, so it's not a huge issue.

Bottom line: what we paid for is unclear. The so‑called double bed is just two separate beds placed together. The mattresses have springs, the AC is broken, and the roaches were a real mess. So grab a room with two separate beds if you want a cheaper option; you can set them up together yourself.
