We were called to cancel the reservation, yet it stayed valid on booking. When I tried to cancel on booking, I was charged fees, so I left it active hoping not to be debited. We were driving from Canada to Florida, expecting an affordable place to sleep, and the call knocked us out. Luckily we found another accommodation that had space and wasn’t too expensive.

Nobody greeted me; the manager was ill, and I have the WhatsApp reply for more details. I hope they don’t charge my account since I didn’t use the facilities. There was a lack of seriousness and commitment to the guest, and on Thanksgiving they took leave claiming a hospital visit and left no replacement to receive me. I want them to take appropriate action in my case.

I was ripped off. I booked a room while on site at another person’s room. When I walked to the front desk, no one was there. I called Wyndham and they were full of nonsense. Because they’re making me hunt my refund myself, and Super 8 never answers the phone, I’m out $70. The location doesn’t have a room worth $70. I was with someone and didn’t want to leave because I was having a good time. I called to get a refund; he assured me my money would be reimbursed within 2 days (by Wyndham) but it never happened. Avoid Super 8 in Goldrock, Battleboro, NC. There are other options in the area. Do yourself a favor—never choose Super 8.
