The room was cozy and minimalist, which I liked; it was warm, and the A/C made sleeping comfortable. The ceilings were very sloped, so we felt like we were ducking a lot, and at 5’9” I found moving around a bit tricky.

When we arrived after a long drive, the promised separate private bathroom for the room could not be guaranteed, as the lady on site explicitly told us. We agreed to find an alternative accommodation immediately. With some effort we located another hotel nearby, but Purcellville Home still claimed full payment was due… no further comment needed.

The bed was quiet, clean, and comfortable. Thank you. No complaints.

The hostess was fine, but she didn’t give us much info about the house or the surrounding area. We were at a wedding, so we didn’t spend much time on the property.
