“Relaxing and peaceful. The food was exceptional!”
The location was very peaceful and ideal for a relaxing getaway. Dinner and breakfast exceeded our expectations. I’d come back again and again—though my husband enjoys exploring new places. There’s a Buddhist temple across the street and a graveyard, and the area was surrounded by cherry blossoms and beautiful flowers. The only problem was confusion with our pickup: we waited at the train station for the Hotel Oyanagi bus, saw a bus there, but the sign was in Hiragana and didn’t say Hotel Oyanagi. We waited about 10 minutes and messaged the hotel to find out what the bus looked like, but got no reply. Luckily we asked another driver, who pointed us to the correct bus. Also, the bus isn’t designed for visitors with large suitcases, so they probably don’t get many international tourists.
