Lamu was very kind and helpful, picked us up from the Sanyang fishing centre and drove us to the hotel, saving us the effort of walking a kilometre on the beach with luggage; the same happened when we left. The food was great, with vegetarian options that weren’t just salads. Wi‑Fi worked fine and he even gave us power banks for charging when there was no electricity in the room. In the bathroom and the shower area, shelves and hooks for hanging things would be useful.
