“Average”
The hotel’s location is great for visiting the aquarium or the Olde Mystick Village, both just a short walk away, so you can shop and dine without having to drive back. The lobby is also beautiful. Unfortunately, the rooms feel dated, the bed isn’t very comfortable, and the walls are thin—I could hear my neighbors’ conversations. Also, this is the only property in Mystic that charges for parking; when I booked, the Booking policy said parking was free. I told the staff, and they said I should have checked the Hilton website, even though I was booking through a third‑party site. After talking to several people, they waived the charge, which was kind. Breakfast is available for an extra fee. There are nicer options with more included amenities nearby, so I’ll likely stay with a non‑Hilton property next time.
“Nice location in Brooklyn”
The location in downtown Brooklyn was perfect. Metro and buses are a few minutes away. Same for major shopping malls, Starbucks, and everything you may need. There is also a nice playground for kids just next block. The property was clean and they allow you to park your car in the garage nearby. After check-out they offer luggage storage service (2$ x item). Our room (double queen) was quite small, which makes it a bit impractical when you are a family of 4 with 2 children. I may recommend to go for a larger room. The garage doesn't allow you to reach your car for the entire stay. This should be made a bit more clear in the property description. Not a problem for us (as we stayed only one night), but people staying longer may want to know in advance
“Decepción”
The hotel was discreet. The indoor pool was full of small children, and a 4* rating feels more like a 3*. They didn’t give us the king‑size bedroom we paid for and booked; they gave us another room by mistake. They didn’t know the final price and couldn’t even process the check‑out—total disaster.
The rooms feel a little outdated compared to the rest of the hotel, but everything was clean and tidy, and I slept great.
The space is beautiful with so much casual seating, and I couldn’t find anything negative.
