Jen and Dewi were amazing hosts! The history and construction of the house were fascinating and unique. The rooms and interior design were gorgeous, and the beds were the comfiest I’d slept on during the whole trip. Everything was wonderful!!

The structure is marvelous, unforgettable for architecture lovers, and the hosts are very welcoming. Nothing else.

The house sits in a quiet countryside. Jen and Dewi were gracious hosts who chatted about life in NZ. It’s a 13‑minute drive to dinner in Matamata, so expect to drive about 26 minutes back and forth. The house is beautifully furnished. The bathrooms were not in the suite, but we were lucky that no other guests were in our section.

Overall, House with No Nails is more than accommodation—it’s a place of peace and blessings. Guests are invited into a family, and the stay becomes a connection to the location and to Jen and Dewi, filled with inspiring stories.
