“Nicht zu empfehlen.”

The rooms were somewhat newly renovated and had a fridge and microwave. But the place was unbelievably dirty: grimy floors, stained sheets, hair in the sink, and a filthy air‑conditioner that barely worked. I cleaned the filter myself, but it still ran poorly. The bed was changed on request. A smoke alarm kept buzzing in the hallway and no one responded. Check‑in was hard because the staff spoke very little English. Maywood is almost entirely a Mexican neighborhood.

“The Manger is Out of Control & REFUSE yoGuest”

I stayed at Star Inn on 4531 Slauson Ave, Maywood, CA 90270 from May 27, 2026 to June 10, 2026 and asked at check‑in to skip maid service for the whole trip, yet staff and people who weren’t authorized still barged in to fix a TV, and they even made rude remarks about how I arranged my luggage; on another occasion the room was opened for 20 minutes while I was out, violating privacy rules and giving me no clear explanation; I want a full refund of the stay ($[Insert Amount]) and a formal review of the hotel’s privacy procedures.
