There isn’t much to like about this place. The rooms are roomy, that’s about it. The location is bad, not near the beach, and the neighborhood felt unsafe. The neighbors had a party with loud music until late at night. The house was dirty, the gas bottle was empty and it took 2 hours to refill. The staff were 10 minutes late to open at check‑in. The owner was not available. The furniture was old and dusty, full of dog hair. The small windows felt like a jail. It was not value for money. A R2000 deposit had to be paid, plus another R800 for our pets. No vacuum cleaner was available for the staff to clean properly.

The cottage was larger than the photos showed, which was a lovely surprise. The bedrooms were nice with en‑suite bathrooms. There was a relaxing outdoor space with a table and chairs where you could enjoy sundowners. It was a wonderful, relaxing stay. The beautiful main en‑suite bathroom needs better ventilation.

It was well equipped and clean. The location wasn’t that great. Behind it was the colorful township with endless trash. I didn’t see it in the house because of the high fence, but it still gave a bad feeling.

It was spacious, well located, and private. However, many little things were broken, like the storage basket in the cupboard and the lock on the door in the main bedroom.
