It was a very enjoyable and unique experience staying with this welcoming family. Food and drinks were billed separately. If you miss the regular morning transport, private transport can be arranged (we used Peru Hop and the bus didn’t arrive in Puno until 13‑14 h).

年に一度の祭りを観るには、この島に泊まるしかない。7月25日から30日らしい。28.29日は国の祝日と被るのでどうなるかわかりません。. 島へは日帰りツアーの船に便乗したのですが、ガイドがこの島の宿は民泊だと言ってました。部屋にはベッド以外なにもない。お湯は出る。タオル、石鹸なども出てこない。鍵もない、泥棒いないそうです。 我慢できる人には、車もバイクもない、本当に静かで平和です。湖の向こうに見えるボリビア側のアンデスが綺麗です。南十字星も見えました。

The view over Lake Titicaca was fantastic. The family were extremely welcoming and helpful, even showing me around the island to the beach and arranging transportation to and from the island.
