There were cockroaches behind the headboard and a sewage smell. No contact with the owner, no keys, an automatic system with the same code for every room made me feel unsafe.

The place was close to the railway station.

The communication and the bed were excellent, but the location made me feel unsafe in the evening. The advertised luxury items like bathrobes, chocolate, and tea were missing, and for two nights there was hardly any toilet paper. The mirror was full of smudges, and the bathroom finish was poor, especially around the jacuzzi. This place used to have a good rating, yet it seems no maintenance has been done since, or perhaps only a superficial fix.

I chose this place because it’s just a few steps from the Foggia station, which I later found is only about ten minutes from the historic center. I booked the room with a whirlpool in the bathroom, and it turned out to be a wonderful treat! The room itself is very comfortable, the bed is incredibly cozy, everything is spotless, and the building is calm and quiet. There’s a kettle, fridge, coffee machine, and snacks for a small, self‑served breakfast. Antonio, the owner, proved to be a great host, giving all the necessary details for the self‑check‑in and showing himself attentive and very helpful. The value for money is unbeatable.
