“An oasis of calm in the edge of the medina”
I love how close it is to everything and the atrium is full of amazing plants – absolutely stunning.

The place has a lot of potential, looks beautiful and sits in a prime spot, but it could use a bit more upkeep. The staff were nice yet fell short of expectations, offering terrible and overpriced services for Fez standards—a dinner of four meat sandwiches in the Riad cost €60, while a top‑rated Medina restaurant served a full meal for four people at €40. They also pushed a €30 per‑person hammam that turned out to be a grim, unhygienic peripheral facility; considering the best Riad’s hammam is €35 and public ones are at most €5, we felt ripped off, especially since we had to bring our own towels, soap and underwear, and the whole setup was more shabby than spa‑like. With a little more care, the Riad could really shine.

The room was roomy and the courtyard is nicely decorated with plants, and the breakfast was among the best we had in Morocco over two weeks. The advertised swimming pool was a murky green, dirty and clearly unusable; lifting cushions or looking under furniture revealed a lot of dirt and grime. I asked the owner to lower the price because of the pool issue, but he refused. We met many lovely people on our trip, but this place was a clear exception. I cannot recommend it; the owner seems to care more about money than guest experience.
