I stayed in a huge, beautiful suite overlooking the sea, and the location was exceptionally convenient. The only downside was the industrial fruit juices served in the morning.

Hotel Minerva, perched on a panoramic cliff above the Gulf of Sorrento, blends 1875 elegance with modern comforts. Air‑conditioned rooms—most with sea views, some featuring private balconies—offer spacious, vibrant interiors. Guests enjoy a sun‑lit pool, terrace, multiple lounges, and a bar serving all‑day drinks. The on‑site restaurant serves local and international cuisine, with candlelit terrace dining in summer. The historic centre lies a ten‑minute scenic walk away.

The balcony and pool offered amazing views, and the staff were very helpful and friendly; everything was spotlessly clean. However, the location is difficult for older guests, and the price is high for a four‑night stay.

We had a lovely stay and were upgraded to a balcony room with a sea view that truly lived up to the hype—beautiful! The staff were helpful, the pool had an amazing view, and breakfast was lovely. I would definitely recommend this place and book again if I ever go to Sorrento. Thanks to all the staff!

The breakfast was exceptional, with a wide variety of dishes, great presentation, a pleasant setting, and helpful staff. Nothing else was lacking, and we even enjoyed walking up the hill to the hotel.
