I liked everything about the breakfast, but there could have been more options.

The hotel is in a very nice location, with large, clean rooms in a peaceful and quiet setting. The staff is welcoming and helpful, the food is tasty with a local Mozambican touch, and the comfortable beds, reliable AC, and spacious, quiet beach all add to a pleasant stay. The hotel has a charm, although some of the facilities feel a bit dated. Amenities are simple rather than modern, and a few features (such as an in-room safe) may not be available

Nice place on the beach

The hotel feels old‑school with only basic facilities, yet its spot right on the beach is unbeatable, and the staff were very helpful.

The hotel sits directly on the beach and boasts a nice garden; the rooms are spacious and clean. However, the beach is very busy because it’s in the middle of town – mornings are filled with fishing, afternoons with sales, and evenings with local villagers, so it’s not ideal for quiet and privacy. The service was disappointing: the owner never greeted us during our stay, and a boat trip to Santa Carolina arranged through the hotel was a let‑down. Promised items like a table, chairs, and sun protection were missing, the boat was in poor condition, and complaints went unanswered despite the €210 cost. It’s a nice hotel, but the lack of service and unprofessional organization prevent us from giving it a perfect score.
