“Mediocre & not much is complimentary for paying the prices of a resort; it’s a rip off”

The beds are very comfortable, the tub is nice, the fireplace is great, and the temperature control is responsive. Check‑in staff were amazing and the complimentary champagne was a highlight. To the greedy rich assholes who own this place: guests pay so much to stay here and still have to pay an insane amount for a little plate of food ($60+). I understand paying at the restaurants but there should be more substantial complimentary food items. Saunas being separated and only accessible via locker rooms is a whole other level of ghetto. That’s not a real sauna.

The location is excellent and it’s very beautiful. The resort is getting rundown. The food wasn’t very good and was overpriced. For breakfast we went to the Kiva coffee place. 2 breakfast burritos, 2 orange juices, 2 old chocolate croissants and a muffin was just shy over $80. None of it was very good.

“Beautiful property”

My stay here was a mixed bag - I adored the beautiful location and the cozy rooms with fireplaces, and the drive to Gateway was a treat. However, our last-minute booking led to a prepaid stay that was charged twice, and getting a refund took an inordinate amount of effort, with multiple phone calls over the course of a week. To add insult to injury, the resort fee, which was a hefty 18% of the total cost, wasn't refunded, leaving a sour taste in my mouth.

“Although it was beautiful scenery, we won’t be returning”

The location of this resort was breathtaking, but sadly, our experience didn't live up to the hefty price tag. The atmosphere felt eerily quiet due to the lack of guests, and the minimal staff didn't help alleviate the sense of emptiness. Although the staff was friendly, the overall vibe was just too subdued for our liking.
