The location. The bedding is very comfortable. The price of the breakfasts is exorbitant for the selection offered (€19 per person). The price for parking per night is €20. These services would deserve to be cheaper.
“A peaceful haven for a short stay”
The spot is spot on, right next to public transport in Rueil-Malmaison and a quick hop to Paris. Staff were friendly and helpful. My room was spotless and fully equipped; the AC and Wi‑Fi performed flawlessly, and the shower water hit just the right temperature. Breakfast was solid, with the usual spread plus eggs cooked on request. I skipped the garden because it was too hot, but I imagine it’s a nice place to chill with a drink or a book in normal weather. The neighborhood stays quiet, and there’s a cozy lounge inside. All in all, a very pleasant hotel that I’d book again and recommend without a second thought. A reading chair would have been nice, and the nine steps up to the entrance can be a bit of a workout. The mattress felt a touch soft, but still comfortable, and the linens were good quality.
The hotel was very quiet. It’s close to the RER, making it convenient to head into Paris, for example. The staff were attentive.
On the second morning, to my surprise when I arrived for breakfast no tables had been cleaned, there was no bread or orange juice or omelette, it was only 8:45 am and I had to ask the kitchen staff to prepare a breakfast that met my expectations (the staff were otherwise helpful).
“Rotslecht”
The staff were decent. There was no air conditioning; the old cooling system didn’t work.
