The island itself is a hidden gem, boasting breathtaking scenery and meticulous upkeep
The staff is simply superb - extremely attentive, friendly, and always willing to help
The rooms were old, and there was no assistance on the beach for umbrellas or sunbeds in front of our room
Every detail is meticulously taken care of, and the atmosphere is peaceful and romantic

“Davvero molto deludente.”
The island and beach are breathtaking, and I have to commend Laila and the restaurant’s F&B manager for actually grasping the situation. The rooms feel dated and could use a refresh, and the service fell far short of what a 5‑star property should deliver. The buffet was absurdly crowded, with some evenings requiring a wait just to get a table, and the lunch buffet was especially weak, clearly aimed at an Asian, particularly Chinese, clientele who receive far cheaper offers. Management never bothered to respond to our complaint on the first night, which was scandalous. After ten trips to the Maldives I can say there are far better options that even cost less.
The ocean was great, but everything else was disappointing.
Everything, especially the staff.
“Una vacanza in totale relax in un paradiso terrestre!”
The resort is fantastic! It’s the right size—nothing huge, just comfortable for guests. The restaurants are never crowded, actually very relaxed. I loved that I could stay barefoot everywhere—restaurants, reception, all the walkways are on sand, so you can forget your shoes. The sea is amazing, with coral reefs close enough for great snorkeling. Every morning a boat organized by the resort takes you out for free snorkeling. The overall vibe is perfect for unwinding. The rooms are beautiful; I had a beachfront villa with a private pool and an open-air Maldivian-style bathroom with a tub—bathing under the stars is priceless, worth the trip. The food is very good, with nightly themes (Italian, Maldivian, Asian, Mexican, etc.). Nothing to complain about, except that sometimes the restaurant food isn’t restocked quickly when it runs out. Pay more attention to that.
Everything is great, especially the villas on the beach—better than the ones inside the sea, especially if you stay 4‑5 days.
