I booked this place for my parents and they were more than satisfied. It was nice that they greeted us on my birthday and offered a military discount. As their daughter, who worried about them, I can say this hotel is wonderful, thanks a lot ✨

We booked the sauna and pool – clean, nice, and worth it. The on‑site restaurant offers good value for money. We were first‑time guests and felt the staff seemed uninterested in our comfort; unless you ask the front desk (where the restaurant is, what hours, breakfast details, etc.) no one tells you anything. There’s a 15 % military discount, but no one informs you about it, and if you book through Booking it doesn’t apply. We stayed two nights, but a foul smell (from the mattress, pillows, or linens – I couldn’t pin it down) forced us to leave a day early because we couldn’t sleep. If you’re out of options, you can stay, but I wouldn’t recommend it.

We chose Zhovkva because its architecture and history attracted us, the city centre felt alive with history and we booked a centrally‑located hotel with a large room and an extra bed for breakfast. At first check‑in we were pleased – the room looked good, was roomy, the beds seemed comfortable, there were bathrobes and everything seemed fine. Then small issues appeared: the TV wouldn’t turn on, the set‑top box wouldn’t be switched on or off, and when we asked the receptionist for help she just told us to press TV‑AV, which did nothing, so the television stayed dead. Later that evening, after a walk, we discovered hot water still dripped while there was no cold water at all, meaning the toilet wouldn’t flush. We went back to the admin who again claimed she didn’t know why and said she had water, so we should too; when I asked how to use the toilet she suggested the restroom on the ground floor by the restaurant, which was infuriating because there was no customer‑oriented effort to fix the problem, no call for a plumber, no offer of another room. The water never returned that morning. A different administrator on shift finally offered us another room, called a plumber, and the water came back immediately. Breakfast had choices; I can’t say it was especially hearty or delicious, but it was acceptable. Another downside was the lack of a kettle in the room… I probably wouldn’t pick this hotel again.

The staff were friendly, but the parking space for vans and trailers was too small.
