The location was ideal, a perfect halfway point on my way home from Melbourne for work; it was easy to find and I was welcomed very warmly by the hosts. They helped with my bags and heated up my dinner, which was a big help since I was incredibly tired.

The place is smack in the middle of everything, so you’re never far from the action. No complaints – just a solid spot for a short stay.

“A lovely break after a late start getting out of Melbourne on our trip north on the Hume”

Just off the Hume Highway, this place felt like a breath of fresh air compared to the usual chain hotels. We hit a local pub for dinner and it was spot on. The room was tiny, but it did the job for one night. The décor was fresh and stylish, but I wish there’d been a hook or two on the door for hanging clothes and some dimmers on the bedside lamps. I think we got a double bed, which might not work for everyone – other rooms could be different. Still, overall a pretty good experience.

“Fantastic”

We had an absolutely fantastic evening at the Honeysuckle. The place had just been renovated, so everything looked fresh. The food and drinks were great, and the staff were super friendly and knew the area well. The highlight was when a guitar was pulled out and we all sang along – it was a blast. Everything was perfect, and we’re definitely coming back. Thanks for the great hospitality!
