The location is great. The parking isn’t on the hotel premises, but it’s nearby.

I was shocked to find a lizard 🦎 crawling around inside my room.

The location was decent, tucked away on a side street in the city center. The staff were friendly, and since we only stayed half a night it was fine. However, we were put in a space that felt like a storage room, it was very loud, there were holes in the walls, and the Wi‑Fi barely worked or was completely out (sometimes there was no power, which is common in Ecuador, but a generator could fix that as others have done). The TV sat on a shelf so you could hardly see it from the bed.

Honestly, there was nothing good. The room smelled awful of dampness—why didn't they ventilate it before guests arrived? Smoke lingered right next to my room; opening the door revealed a thick haze, and the lights were off. They locked the door until you returned, and you had to buzz in. I definitely wouldn't come back. The fitted sheet was so rough that I couldn't sleep well.
