I came all the way from far away, exhausted and hoping for a quick rest, but the room was a nightmare: it smelled bad, littered with trash, the bed was broken, the sheets were stained, and nothing had been prepared. The bathroom was filthy and swarmed with mosquitoes, so I was utterly disappointed. I had planned to go by the river to offer alms, but the monk came instead, and everything fell short of what I expected.
