The location is good. The furniture is in poor condition, the toilet in the bathroom is loose, the shower curtain is almost hanging down, and the door was hard to close.

The accommodation is spacious, stays fairly cool despite the heat outside, sits in a central location, the host is very friendly, the area is quiet with good access to restaurants and shops. We had a minor flooding issue in the bathroom, but we think it was because the shower curtain was too long. Nothing serious.

I was happy with the location, the room was spotless, checking‑in was smooth and the staff kept me updated. The balcony overlooking the canal and the large windows added to the comfort, and the bed was really cozy. On the downside, the bathroom door made a lot of noise and only opened with a key, so I had to lock it myself. The bedroom door also required a key, which meant I had to carry several keys around the house if I needed to use the toilet at night. Adding a turn‑lock inside the door and fixing the squeaky hinge on the bathroom door would solve the problem. The restaurant on the ground floor had a very loud kitchen that made it hard to relax.

The host was very welcoming and let us leave our luggage there until check‑in. The spot was ideal and felt safe. Everything was clean and comfortable, though the bathroom was a bit tight for a taller person. The only drawback was the noise early in the morning; I’m not sure if it was other guests lugging luggage down the street or something else, but it was 4:45 a.m. and incredibly loud. This isn’t something that happens all the time, so don’t let it stop you from booking.

We really liked the place. The location is amazing, and the antique furniture in our room added a lot of charm. The room was very large and spacious. The only things that could be improved are minor, like the hairdryer and kettle not working properly.
