“Great staff, nice property, needs a refresh.”
The place was beautiful and had a traditional Japanese vibe. The toilet and bath in the rooms could use a modern upgrade to stay current.

Pues, debo comentar que es más un refugio que un hotel, pero con precios de hotel. What I liked least was that, although the hotel has its own rules regarding the use of the ofuro and the reservation-only sauna, these rules did not appear to be properly observed. I had reserved a specific time slot, but when I went to use the facilities, members of the hotel staff were using both the ofuro and the sauna during my reserved period. In addition, the hotel states that it provides bedding and certain toiletries that are commonly available at Japanese hotels, but in practice some of these items were not provided. Overall, I believe the hotel should apply its own rules more consistently and ensure that the information provided about included amenities accurately reflects what is actually available.*** 最も残念だった点は、ホテル側が大浴場（お風呂）や予約制サウナの利用ルールを設けているにもかかわらず、そのルールが十分に守られていないように感じたことです。私は指定された時間帯を予約していましたが、実際に利用しようとしたところ、その予約時間中にホテルのスタッフが大浴場とサウナの両方を利用していました。 また、日本のホテルでは一般的に提供される寝具やアメニティについて、ホテル側の案内では提供されることになっていましたが、実際には一部用意されていないものがありました。 ホテル自身が定めた利用ルールをより一貫して運用するとともに、設備やアメニティに関する案内についても、実際に提供される内容と一致させていただければと思います。*** Lo que menos me gustó fue que, aunque el hotel establece sus propias reglas para el uso del ofuro y de la sauna con reserva previa, estas no parecen respetarse adecuadamente. Reservé un horario específico y, al momento de utilizar las instalaciones, había miembros del personal del hotel usando tanto el ofuro como la sauna durante mi turno. Asimismo, el hotel señala que ofrece ropa de cama y determinados artículos de aseo que suelen ser habituales en alojamientos japoneses, pero en la práctica algunos de estos artículos no estaban disponibles. En general, considero que sería importante que el hotel aplicara de manera más consistente las normas que establece para sus huéspedes y que la información sobre los servicios incluidos reflejara con mayor precisión lo que realmente se ofrece.***

The staff were thoughtful and caring, and we loved the neighborhood around the hotel. I wish the bathroom had a bit more space.

The hosts were welcoming and friendly, and the accommodation was a spacious, clean wooden house with a cozy restaurant run by a skilled chef. Although it’s not near the bus terminal or JR Hakuba station, the hosts offered a shuttle for guests. Breakfast was prepared by the chef. The bedroom felt a bit cramped and the lighting was dim, but the living room was large and relaxing.

The toilet didn’t flush, I couldn’t use the bath in the morning, insects were on the windows and ceiling, a machine was left on the terrace, and the staff’s approach to standby during meals varied. The breakfast meat was cut unevenly and left blackened.
