The breakfast was solid, but the elevator was a missing feature that would have made the stay more convenient.

The hotel sits fairly close to the fairgrounds, but the room was a real disappointment: it carried a strong odor of smoke and cologne, and the toilet was clogged upon arrival and never cleared, forcing us to try a plunger and hope for a flush. We were promised a king bed and a twin bed, yet the twin turned out to be a bent pull‑out couch that raised our feet higher than our heads and was covered in grass and hay, with a similar mess behind it.
