“Ottima struttura e posizione università”

The place is great for its proximity to the University of Fisciano, well connected with many transport options at the university terminus, easily accessible and independently managed. The building is clean. The bed had an automatic timer heater, perfect for a chilly person like me. The staff were friendly. However, after traveling a lot and experiencing different spaces, I feel the simple furnishings and shared kitchen make the price a bit high. I paid 65 euros per night in January for a room with a bathroom, needed for two nights while taking an exam at the university.

At first I was assigned a studio at a different address than the reservation (No. 49 instead of No. 47 on the same street). The studio was completely inadequate and did not meet the expected standard for a 9.5 rating: the bathroom was too small with a tiny shower area (even for a short person), the fridge was not plugged in (it would have needed to be moved to find a socket), trying to use what looked like a fridge in the kitchen turned out to be a freezer, leading to a ridiculous suggestion (“lower the cooling level to make it a fridge”). The bedside lamp was not plugged in (short cord to reach it behind the bed). The Wi‑Fi credentials were invalid (later updated on request). After complaints, the second day I was transferred to No. 47 in a higher‑standard apartment with a private room and bathroom but a shared kitchen. They use high‑standard apartments to offer a miserable studio elsewhere.
