La An Old City Hotel is quaint, conveniently located to the old city, central and within walking distance to great eats, trailers, and most of the town; staff were very engaging and helpful with suggestions of local cultural events to see, and I really enjoyed our stay there. It’s a small boutique building so its facilities reflect that, but I had no issues during our stay.

The location was excellent—quiet yet close to the lively city centre. Breakfast was modest and not very extensive. At first we got a room with a broken air‑conditioner, some mildew in the bathroom and ripped sheets, which led to terrible sleep, but on the second day we were able to switch to a proper room. The property could use a bit of refurbishment in places. Anna, who checked us in and handled the reception, was very friendly and tried to steer us toward pricier excursions she offered, which we declined.

The spot was great, the staff were super helpful, the room was spacious and fairly clean. The bathroom needed a bit of refurbishment.
