“快適”
The room was very spacious, letting us relax comfortably, and the amenities were nice, with a built‑in drum‑type washer‑dryer that proved handy; breakfast tasted great and the staff were all cheerful and provided pleasant service; the large public bath was almost to ourselves, so we could soak at leisure; because many overseas guests stay here, fewer people seem to use the onsen; the view from the room was outstanding, and overall the hotel’s facilities and atmosphere gave a high level of satisfaction. The biggest issue was that the staff barely understood Japanese; while I get that the hotel attracts many foreign visitors, it was surprisingly inconvenient for a domestic hotel to lack basic Japanese communication even in simple situations. I also added breakfast for 4,000 yen per person, and given what was offered it felt far too pricey – a set‑meal for that amount seemed a poor value, leaving me thinking “4,000 yen for this?” despite the food being tasty, the price‑to‑quality mismatch was disappointing.
