The views were beautiful, the place was clean, and the service was very friendly.

The place was super quiet and the host was friendly, offering good value. The decking was littered with pigeon droppings, and the unit wasn’t as clean as it could have been. We didn’t know that the shower required £1 coins, which we didn’t have.

The whole site felt very pleasant and calming, and the owners were welcoming and helpful. A separate toilet for the glamping pods would have made it perfect.

The setting is idyllic. We stayed in the Shepherd’s Hut, which was cozy and comfortable. It has a charming quirky interior with clever use of space and nice outdoor seating, perfect for breakfast. The location is green and well tended, and the lake is very pretty.
