The oven trays were a bit dirty, could have been cleaner.

A solid spot for a family trip, especially when hiking the West Coast Wilderness Trail.

The small cottage across from the hotel had three rooms, a tiny living area, and two bathrooms. The kitchen was tiny and a bit old‑school but functional, and there was a laundry room with a washing machine. The village history was interesting, just a 5‑minute drive from Highway 6, and there’s a playground 100 m away for kids. The beds felt a bit soft, but the bedding was clean and still comfortable.

The beds were good, but the hotel sits on the main road, so heavy trucks drove by all night and made it impossible to sleep—better avoid it.
