“We requested a manager from the hotel contact us. We heard nothing until 9/10/2026. insufficient.”
The spot was solid, Bainbridge Island feels great, but the hotel itself is woefully unprepared for guests. It was a mess—loud, dirty, short on supplies, and the staff was thin. I asked for a refund and an explanation of how they can keep taking bookings under these conditions. The front desk told me to “contact booking” because they claimed no responsibility. A ticket is now open with Best Western customer service. When we arrived, the room was only half ready; the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned or restocked—soap and shampoo dispensers were empty, the floor was sticky, counters were grimy. The key system failed, so every time we tried to enter, the card wouldn’t work and we had to go back to the lobby to get a new one. We asked for glassware and received dirty glasses; we asked for towels and they had none. The list of shortcomings goes on. It’s the worst hotel experience I’ve had in all my travels, with relentless failures to provide basic hospitality.
